  • Aba began practicing asana at the age of 17, including practicing and studying yoga philosophy and meditation with Jivamukti Yoga for the past 10 years. She completed her 300 Hour Teacher Training with Jivamukti Yoga. Aba experiences yoga as a journey back toward the Divine through self study and compassion for ourselves and for all living beings. In class, Aba aims to challenge others to awaken their own intuition about their bodies, minds, and overall being, just as her teachers have done for her. Her practice of yoga is focused on fostering a spirit of devotion, which ultimately brings awareness and intentionality to how we live our lives. When not teaching, Aba works as a lawyer and enjoys exploring life with her husband and son.

  • Sarah has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, starting in college and never looking back. She has explored various styles of yoga, initially with her beloved Iyengar teacher Brandy Kirkpatrick, then a brief stint with Baron Baptiste where she completed a Level 1 Teacher Training, and then on to Ashtanga Yoga which she practiced for almost 15 years under the guidance of Marsha McNeight in Atlanta, GA. Sarah completed a teacher training with David Swenson and a 2 week workshop with Ashtanga legend David Williams who inspired her to step back from the intensity of the poses so she could practice for life. She began to indulge in classes that were less structured but more based in music and dance, She learned to stop caring what the poses looked like, and started to enjoy pain-free yoga and tune out the world for an hour. Sarah is honored to join the Gratitude Yoga family of teachers. Her classes will be filled with breath, music, and hopefully some laughs (and yes, some yoga poses).
