Roberta Pughe, Psychotherapist and Shamanic Practitioner
Roberta Pughe, LMFT, is a Psychotherapist and Shamanic Practitioner practicing privately in Princeton with over 30 years experience working with adults, college students and adolescents. Her work combines a solid foundation in Systems Therapy, Gestalt Theory and Theological Studies.
In addition to working in her clinical practice, Roberta is an educator, conference leader and published author. Her second book, “Body as Sanctuary for Soul” integrates shamanism, gestalt theory and elemental breathwork. Increasingly, she is synthesizing yoga and yogic philosophy with her therapeutic work with couples, individuals, and families and she finds that integrating these ancient paths – in the face of our harried modern lives – offers access to deep healing, soul retrieval and wisdom about the interconnectedness of all of life. Roberta’s home is Princeton, New Jersey, where she and her husband have raised their two sons, joined by their dogs, Daisy and Dante. Her website is www.robertapughe.com.

Jennifer Galgano, Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor
Jen is a long time yoga practitioner who used yoga in her own pregnancy to help alleviate stress and and prepare for the arrival of her daughter. She believes that her yoga practice made a significant difference during her own birthing experience. Jen has over 300 hours of yoga teacher training including a 100 hour certification in prenatal yoga. She leads prenatal classes that are accessible to all women throughout their entire pregnancy.
In the prenatal class you can expect to use breathwork and meditation to cultivate mindfulness and connect with your body’s innate wisdom about giving birth. You will stretch and strengthen the muscles that support your baby and pregnancy and benefit from much needed relaxation. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other moms in a safe, open community that encourages you to freely discuss what you are experiencing.
